Dan McGowan has worked as a composer, arranger, songwriter and producer for over 30 years with many songs appearing on a wide range of audio, video, print and broadcast products.
He was part of the creative team behind award-winning projects such as The Music Machine 2, The Amazing Book Series, The Everlasting Adventure, and the delightful Doodlemaps Show, among others.
Dan has composed full-length staged cantatas for adult and children's choirs including Baby's First Christmas and One Man. He also composed Beyond the Wardrobe Door, a musical based on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. He has enjoyed working with several publishers such as Group Publishing, Standard, Lifeway, Augsburg, Worship Today, Fred Bock Music, Gospel Light, and more.
Dan has a passion for creating "ear-catching" songs that are memorable and marketable - songs that have strong hooks with sing-able melodies. He sees CrossLight Publishing as a group of creatives who work with, and inspire, songwriters in the journey of crafting better songs and helping them find the right home.
Dan lives in Southern California with his wife. Occasionally, you might fins him behind the mic dusting off his comedy chops.
Nelson Tucker is no stranger to the microphone or the pen as he has been a motivational speaker and lyricist for over 25 years. An entrepreneur, he has founded 5 successful companies in Los Angeles and Nashville.
Nelson 's first published song was released in 2005 and he wrote the theme song for a major non-profit organization as they celebrated their 100th Birthday in 2015.
Nelson renewed his passion for writing music in 2017 after attending an intensive course at The Songwriters School of Los Angeles where he refined his writing skills.
He founded Words to Music, LLC in Nashville and since that time he has penned 31 Country songs, including "Fifth and Broadway," "Should Have Gone to Nashville," "Christmas in Nashville," and "Country Music Cruise," all co-written with Dan McGowan.
Nelson has also written Pop music, including "Frozen Strangers" and "How to Get You Back."
Nelson's passion is to help other songwriters hone their skills and get their songs published and heard!
